MEET THE ASSISTANT TRAINER
Rebecca Massey
Rebecca started horseback lessons at the age of 13 and instantly fell in love with it. She started volunteering at the same barn to gain more experience and extra riding time, which eventually let to a paid position caring for the horses. After a few years of dedication and hard work, she was promoted to barn manager and trainer.
At 16, Rebecca got her first horse-Blondie, a 4 year old off-the-track Thoroughbred. Blondie required extensive training and faced several medical challanges that effected her performance under saddle. Through patience and perserverance, the two have grown tremendously together and now are pursuing hunter-jumper competitions.
For Rebecca, the love of horses will always come before the sport- the horse always comes first!

The facility has 16 matted horse stalls, a lighted 60' x 140' indoor riding arena with heated viewing/tack room , a brand new 85' x 115' outdoor arena as well as paddocks and pastures for turnout.
Each horse gets a heated water bucket in the winter, and two buckets for the summer months. Outside troughs are heated during the winter months as well. Horses are turned out daily (weather permitting) in compatible groups.
